MATTISON, JAMES  "JIM" 
James Mattison died at 7:42 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at St. Helena
Parish Nursing Home in Greensburg. He was 70, a native of Bastrop and a
resident of Amite. He was a 1959 LSU forestry graduate and a retired
forestry manager at Hunt Forest Products. Visitation at McKneely Funeral
Home, Amite, on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. until memorial services at
noon, conducted by the Rev. Brady Whitton. Survived by his wife, Judy
Redmon Mattison, Amite; two daughters, Cynthia Mattison Adams, Cut Off, and
Wendy Wyatt Miller, Ponchatoula; a son, James Bradley Mattison, Brandon,
Miss.; a brother, William "Bill" Mattison, Monroe; and six grandchildren.

MATTISON, WALTER
Killian - Walter "Buck" Mattison, 66, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2000, at
North Oaks Medical Center. He was a native of Killian. Survivors include
his wife, Jeanette Boudreaux Mattison, Killian; four daughters, Linda Mang,
Slidell, Cherie Schultz, Gulfport, Miss., Vivian Peterman, Killian, Jeanne 
Pollet, Destrehan; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A son,
Richard Egle, preceded him in death. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely &
Son Funeral Home, Hammond, Saturday from 11 a.m. until the funeral at 
1 p.m.
