In my Father's house there are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. ... I go to prepare a place for you." John 14. Taylor Shane, a loving young man, will be sadly missed by his family and friends. This world is but temporal, yet we take comfort. He will remain in our hearts until we see him again in paradise. He was born on July 26, 1983, in Baton Rouge, and passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2007. Taylor was 23, a resident of Baton Rouge and a 2001 graduate of Live Oak High School. He attended LSU and Baton Rouge Community College. The son of Carl and Lois Joiner Mautner of Baton Rouge, Taylor is also survived by a sister, Regan Grace Mautner of Baton Rouge; paternal grandmother, Marjorie LeBlanc Mautner of Baton Rouge; maternal grandparents, Huey and Roberta "Bertie" Joiner of Loranger; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William John Mautner. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Rickey Sinclair. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
