I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith."" II Timothy 4:6-7. Yvette Michell Maxwell was called home on Thursday, February 21, 2013. The oldest child of Georgia M. Hart and the late James A. Hart, Yvette was born on July 19, 1962 in Independence, LA. She accepted Christ at an early age. Yvette attended Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA where she obtained her bachelors of Science Degree in accounting and she was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Yvette was united in holy matrimony to Earnest E. Maxwell, Sr. in January of 1992. To this union three children were born. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her three children who were dear to her heart. Yvette had a great sense of humor, enjoyed reading, golfing (and sports in general), and family travels. Memories of her will always be rooted in the hearts of those who knew her and she will forever live on in their hearts. She is survived by her husband, Earnest E. Maxwell, Sr; her two daughters: Kiana Maxwell and Amira Maxwell; her son: Earnest Maxwell, Jr.; her mother: Georgia M. Hart; her three younger brothers: Gerry K. Hart, Reginald J. Hart, Rafel O. Hart; her sister: Monisha Starks; her nephew: Micah Starks; her niece: Madison Starks; her Grandmother: Doretha Lloyd, her mother-in- law: Annie M.
