MAYET, CLARENCE JOSEPH
Clarence Joseph Mayet, 85, died Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at North Oaks
Medical Center, Hammond.  A native and longtime resident of Algiers, he was
retired from retail shoe sales and was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Lucia Mayet; five
sisters, Lionel Marie Madrazo, Winnie Schmitt, Ann Tranchina, Earline
Rholdon and Velma Duke; and two brothers, Melvin Mayet and Reece Mayet.
A mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church
in Ponchatoula.  Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Algiers.
Geisler Funeral Home, Hammond, was in charge.
