She was 52 and a native of Tickfaw. Visiting at Geisler Funeral Home, Albany, 8 a.m. Monday until religious services at 10 a.m., conducted by Maj. Dan Heard and Capt. Ernie Steadman. Interment in Bankston Cemetery, north of Albany. Survived by husband, Jim McCarty, Knoxville; mother, Billie Lee Jones, Independence; two sons, Brian Conerly, Jackson, Miss., and Jeff Conerly, McComb, Miss.; four sisters, Helen Lonergan, Natalbany, Syble Sturdivant, Hammond, Dorothy DeBlieux, Pride, and Nancy Stilley, Independence; four brothers, John Paul Jones, Rochester, Mass., Homer W. Jones Jr., Independence, Robert R. Jones, Holden and Charles Wayne Jones, Independence; two grandchildren, Lance and Jordan Conerly, both of McComb, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
