McCHAIN, MRS. DANIEL GUY
Last rites for Mrs. Daniel Guy McChain who passed away Saturday at her
apartment, were held Sunday from Grace Memorial; interment was in Grace
cemetery.  Mrs. McChain was born March 20, 1874 in Napoleonville, and was
united in marriage to Daniel Guy McChain of Brooklyn, N.Y. on March 9,
1893.  The couple resided in New York until his death on November 12, 1905. 
The following year she and her family moved to Napoleonville and in 1908
moved to Hammond.  She is survived one daughter, Miss Sophie McChain; two
sons, Robert (Brock) McChain and Sheldon McChain of Lafayette; one
grandchild.
