She died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at Pioneers Memorial Hospital, Brawley, Calif. She was 84 and a native of Memphis, Tenn. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday. Visitation Monday at Grace Memorial Episcopal Church in Hammond from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment in Rose Memorial Cemetery. Survived by daughter and son- in-law, Judy and Phillip Grant, Brawley; son and daughter-in-law, Franklyn and Janet McColloch, Dallas; five grandchildren, Christopher and Kelly Grant, College Station, Texas, and Amy Grant, Jill McColloch and Samuel McColloch, Dallas; and a brother, Charles Geffs, Magnolia, Miss. Preceded in death by husband, Lewis McColloch. She lived in Hammond as a young woman and was a 1936 graduate of Hammond High School, and a graduate of Southeastern College and Tulane University. She was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church, a member of the Order of the Worker Sisters of the Holy Spirit, the United Daughters of the Confederacy and many other clubs. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed reading. The family requests that memorials be made to Grace Memorial Episcopal Church of Hammond. ***************************************************************************
