BUXTON Oakdale - Burial was today for Maggie Marie Buxton McFarlane in Oak Hill Cemetery. McFarlane, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at her home. She was a native of Reeves, a member of First United Pentecostal Church and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Russell McFarlane of Oakdale; nine daughters, Ruth Bond of Oakdale, Jeanette Horton, Carolyn Musselwhite and Louise Johnson, all of Elizabeth, Leavell Hutchinson of Oakdale, Laverne Malone of Gardner, Elaine Soley of Hammond, Lois Giles of Cartersville, Ga., and Yvonne Swartz of Monett, Mo.; one son, Dew Buxton of Oakdale; one sister, Marjorie Ferrell of Leesville; one stepson, Van McFarlane of Portage, Ind.; one stepdaughter, JoAnn McFarlane of Chicago Heights, Ill.; 56 grandchildren, 112 great-grandchildren and 12 great- great-grandchildren. Her husband, Hubbard Buxton; and one son, Hubbard Eugene Buxton, preceded her in death.
