MCGHEE, DEBORAH
Kentwood - Deborah McGhee, 42, died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001, at Houston
Northwest Hospital in Texas. She was a native of Kentwood and resided in
Houston. Survivors include her husband, Lonnie C. McGhee; four daughters,
Vanessa, Philnese Shantel, Pamela and Angela McGhee; her mother, Sarah
Hoofkin; a sister, Kimberly L. Miller; a brother, Edward Tyrone Hoofkin,
and nine grandchildren. All are Kentwood residents. Her father, Edward
Hoofkin, preceded her in death as did her grandparents, Calvin and Lettie 
William Perry, and her godparents, Matthew and Johnnie Mae Ramsey. The Rev.
Ray Jackson conducted the funeral Saturday at Oak Grove AME Church in
Kentwood with burial in Hookfin Cemetery on Hookfin Road in Kentwood.
Richardson Funeral Home was in charge.
