She was 26 and a native of New Orleans. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, May 16, from 5 p.m. until memorial service at 7 p.m. Survived by her father, Richard M. McGough; mother, Lydia B. Poirrier; two sisters, Erin T. Younk and Evan M. Lieber; two nephews, Andrew S. and David C. Younk; and two nieces, Emma M. and Addison G. Lieber. Preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Remy and Madge J. Poirrier; and paternal grandparents, June and Clara G. McGough. She was a member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and an honorary member of the Kenner and Louisiana Jaycees. She was poster child for muscular dystrophy for New Orleans and Louisiana from 1984-1991, and attended Camp "Sunshine" Abbey from 1985-2001. ***************************************************************************
