He was 40 and a native of Orlando, Fla. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, with vigil prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Monday. Religious services at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, Independence, at 11 a.m. Monday. Entombment in Colonial Mausoleum, Independence. Survived by his parents, Leemon and Joyce Scimeca McHenry, Covington; a brother, Dr. Leemon McHenry Jr., Los Angeles; a cousin, Ray Scimeca, Independence; a great-aunt, Mary Vaccaro, Independence; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and worked at Sea World and Walt Disney World Living Seas as a marine biologist for 20 years. ***************************************************************************
