She was the loving wife of the late William Burns McIntyre Sr. Elaine was known for her compassion and always placed others before herself. Her beautiful Catholic faith was a large part of her life. She was a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society. They were the parents of several children; only one survives - son, Eugene, lives in Memphis, Tenn. Also surviving are one granddaughter, 5 grandsons and three daughters-in- law. Among the latter is Mrs. Lucille McIntyre of Casa de Fresa. Funeral services were held Thursday from the Thomas Funeral Home.
