She was 55 and a native of Ferriday. Visiting at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Glen Reines. Interment in Sand Hill Cemetery, Independence. Survived by her husband, Philip McKenna, Amite; four sons and daughters-in-law, Philip Jr. and Tracey McKenna, Southport, N.C., Duane and Tracey McKenna and Travis and Martha McKenna, all of Amite, and Chris and Alice McKenna, Independence; seven grandchildren, Brandon McKenna, Tori McKenna, Casey McKenna, Justin McKenna, Daniel McKenna, Mason McKenna and Deven McKennna; two sisters, Sue Shaw, Zachary, and Faye Schiender, Vidalia; and two brothers, Horace Lee Smith, Picayune, Miss., and Robert Lamar Smith, St. Francisville.
