MCKENNEY, GEORGE
George McKenney, 59, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2002, at North Oaks Medical
Center, Hammond. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by two
daughters, Alichia McKenney of Chicago and Jacqueline Yvette McKenney of
Washington, D.C.; one son, George McKenney of Chicago; one sister, Rebecca
Ward of East St. Louis, Ill.; three brothers, James McKenney of Corona,
Calif., Joe Lee McKenney of Las Vegas and Shelby McKenney of East St.
Louis, Ill.; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be today at N.A. James
Funeral Home, Hammond, from 5 to 9 p.m. The Rev. L.T. Maryland will conduct
the funeral Saturday at Lincoln Park Baptist Church, Hammond, at 1 p.m. 
Burial will be in Jefferson Barricks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
