She is survived by 3 children Jerry Michael Pitts and wife Irene of Hammond, LA, Donald Ray Pitts and wife Sylvia of Ponchatoula and Kevin Lee Pitts and wife Brandy of Perkinston, 2 siblings, Elaine Hatten of Houston, TX and James "Popeye" Daughdrill of Carnes, MS, 9 Grandchildren, Evan Pitts, Tiffany Pitts, Melanie Pitts, Marcus Pitts, Julianne Pitts, Kristen Pitts, Lauren Pitts, Lindsey Pitts and Mikeah Pitts, and 3 great- grandchildren, Aliah Pitts, Noah Pitts and Bella Pitts. She was a former Member of Temple Baptist Church and spent 30 years in newspaper delivery with the Sun Herald in the Orange Grove area. Her hobbies were ceramics and gardening and spending time with her family. The funeral service was held at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, on Monday, May 11, 2009, at 7 PM where friends visited from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 10:30 AM in Bounds Cemetery, Carnes, MS.
