He was a member of Colyell Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Penny Averett and Joseph Taylor of Colyell; father and stepmother, Gary and Jennifer McLin of French Settlement; a brother, Aaron McLin of Colyell; a sister, Chastity McLin of French Settlement; a stepsister, Natasha Taylor of Colyell; four stepbrothers, Josh Meyers and Max McLin, both of French Settlement, and Joseph "Peanut" and Adam Taylor, both of Colyell; his maternal grandparents, J.B. and Deanie Gordon Averett of Coylell. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Ruby McLin. The Rev. Delmas Taylor and the Rev. She was married twice, first to Vernon Harold Bardwell and second to Joseph McLin. Surviving are; one son and daughter-in-law, Vernon Harold Bardwell, II and Mary Harper Bardwell; one grandson, Vernon Harold Bardwell, III; and one sister, Kitty Cooper Bardwell. She is preceded in death by; parents, Mike Cooper and Lottie Howes Cooper; one granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Bardwell; one brother, Henry Cooper; four sisters, Rhelia Bardwell, Clair Hayden, Felisity Roberts, and Elenor Levigne; and husband, Joseph McLin. Blanche was a realtor for more than 20 years. She was an agent for Tricou and Associates in Hammond, LA Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son in Ponchatoula from 6 p.m. til 9 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2007, and after 8 a.m. on Wednesday until religious service.
