MCMANUS, SR. EUGENE ROBINSON

A resident of Hammond, he died at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2002, at Hammond 
Nursing Home. He was 84 and a native of Denham Springs. Visiting at Gray's Creek 
Baptist Church, Denham Springs, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the 
church from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in Holy 
Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Amant. Survived by his wife, Shirley McManus; 
six sons, Eugene McManus Jr., James McManus, Joseph McManus, Robert McManus Sr., 
Richard McManus and Steven McManus; two sisters, Lola Hess of Denham Springs and 
Ethel McManus of Georgia; a brother, Archie McManus Sr. of Greenwell Springs; and 
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, 
Johnnie Ruth Baham. Renaissance Services Inc., Gonzales, in charge of arrangements.

MCMANUS, NATHAN MICHAEL 

HOLDEN - Nathan Michael McManus, 14, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at North Oaks 
Medical Center, Hammond, following an automobile accident. He was a student at 
Holden High School. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Tammy McManus of 
Holden; one brother, Trenten McManus; his maternal grandparents, Barbara and Butch 
Blount of Baton Rouge and Jim and Jane McManus of San Antonio, Texas; his parental 
grandparents, Rita and Jerry McManus of Holden and C.J. and Lucille McManus of 
Holden. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Beatrice McManus and 
Willis Stewart Sr. and Modena and Fred McManus. The funeral was today at First 
United Pentecostal Church, Denham Springs. Burial was in United Pentecostal 
Cemetery, Holden. Memorial donations may be made to the Holden High School 
baseball fund, care of Holden High School.

MCMANUS, ROBERT EARL

A retired business manager for various pipeline companies and a resident of Baton 
Rouge, he died Saturday, July 20, 2002, at Flannery Oaks Nursing Home. He was 88 
and a native of Amite. Graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m. 
Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Paul A. Toups. Survived by his wife of 58 years, 
Joy Edwards McManus; a son, Michael McManus of Huntsville, Texas, and his wife, Dr. 
Pamela McManus; and a grandson, Sean McManus, Atlanta. Preceded in death by a son, 
Dr. Timothy A. McManus; a brother, Claude W. McManus; a sister, Allison McManus; 
and parents, Robert A. McManus and Ruth Morgan McManus. Rabenhorst Funeral Home 
East in charge of arrangements.

A homemaker and resident and native of St. Amant, she died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, 
June 6, 2004, in Hammond. She was 65. Visiting at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 
St. Amant, from 9:30 a.m. until religious service at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, 
conducted by the Rev. Bob Stine. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by two 
daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Russell Lindsey and Heidi and Dale Himel; 
a son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Vee Causey; five sisters, Mary B. Lambert, 
Vernell Tullier, Earline Babin, Ruth Humphrey and Audrey LaPorte; three brothers, 
Lavern Parent, Glynn Parent and Burris Parent; and three grandchildren, Paul 
Lindsey, who was dear to her heart, Kayla Himel and Kelsi Himel. Preceded in 
death by her husband, Eugene McManus; parents, Felicien and Elva Hebert Parent; 
and stepgrandson, Richard Lindsey. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church. Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, in charge of arrangements.
