He was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts on Saturday, July 12, 1947, son of the late John Joseph McMorrow and Esther Marie Crone McMorrow. Mr. McMorrow was a Sergeant in the Army during the Vietnam era. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal with 60 Device, 2 O/S Bars and Expert (Rifle M-16). Survivors include his sons, Robert Charles McMorrow II, and Andrew Fennell McMorrow; brothers, Richard Dennis McMorrow and John Joseph McMorrow Jr.; sister, Susan Melody McMorrow Hernandez; and companion, Lori Jean Moore. His teaching experience spans over 25 years at multiple colleges in the Louisiana and Mississippi area. He loved challenges, reading, research, teaching, etc. Graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida on Friday, May 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Catholic Church - 5225 N. Himes Ave. - Tampa, FL at 4 p.m., on Friday, May 9, 2008. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society - 10528 Kentshire Court - Baton Rouge, LA 70810 or to your local ACS office.
