She was 88 and a native of Chunky, Miss. Visitation at First United Methodist Church, Hammond, from 9 a.m. Wednesday until religious services at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Ricky Willis. Interment in Roseland Park Cemetery, Hattiesburg, Miss. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. John A. (Genevieve M.) Andre, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Maurice N. (Nita K.) Cockerham, Gulf Breeze, Fla.; four grandchildren, Michael C. Andre, Lisa A. Everett, Courtney Cockerham and Tara Rittenhouse; and three great-grandchildren, Lauren Everett, Christopher Cockerham and Daylia Rittenhouse. Preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Genevieve Mohler Martin; six sisters, LouiseFerguson, Sarah McInnis, Gladys Cummings, Bonnie Gillen, Katheryn Ingram and Beatrice Swinney; and two brothers, retired U.S. Army Maj. Reginald Martin, and infant Robert Lee Martin Jr. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hammond, and United Methodist Women, and a former member of Round Table Club and Daughters of the American Revolution.
