He was 56 and a native of Lake Village, Ark. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. Saturday, April 30, to 9 p.m. and continuing from the funeral home chapel at noon on Sunday, May 1, until religious service at 3 p.m., conducted by Pastor Bud Plake. Interment in Felders Cemetery, Denham Springs. He is survived by his wife, Earleen Griffin Methvin; two sons, Jason Lee and Clinton Reid Methvin; two sisters, Joann Baker and Linda Waldon; and a granddaughter, Jade Lee Methvin. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Charles Methvin; mother, Clara Bell Cleghorn; son, Mitchell Lee Methvin; and brother, Samuel Charles Methvin.
