Charles Joseph Meyn Jr., 58 years old of Ponchatoula, died August 26, 2010. He was born on October 6, 1951, in Ponchatoula, son of the late Charles Joseph Meyn Sr. and the late Myrtis Hebert. Surviving are his 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Tammy Meyn and Chris Nauck, and Angela and Christopher Hoss; 2 sons, Jeffery "Scotty" Meyn, and Joseph Meyn; grandson, Logan Hoss; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrtis "Twinkle" and Adam Guichet, and Verna and Kevin Foster; brother & sister-in-law, Bentley "Bennie" and Mary Lou Harris; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Cody J. Griffith. Friends will be received Monday, August 30, 2010, from 8:00 am till 1:30 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, August 30, 2010, at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.
