She was 94 and a native of Island of Patmos, Greece. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 11 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Anthony Stratis. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, Kentwood. Survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Anita Nugier Miaoulis, Hammond, and Jimmy and Theresa Miaoulis, Houston; five grandchildren, Monique Stubbs, Nick Miaoulis, Tonya Lowentritt, Melina Miaoulis and Mary Kathryn Rothwell; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Nick Miaoulis; a sister, Irene Bournis; and parents, Demitrious and Mary Kokkinakis Bournis.
