"JIMMY" A resident of Plaquemine and former owner and operator of Jimmy's Grocery on Railroad Avenue in Plaquemine for more than 40 years, he passed away Tuesday, May 25, 1999, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 82 and a native of Tickfaw. Visiting at Wilbert's Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Friday, celebrated by the Rev. Jerome Dugas. Interment in Grace Memorial Park. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Sarah Vitale Calvaruso Migliacio; a daughter and son-in-law, Deedy and P.W. Albert Jr., Plaquemine; three sons and daughters-in-law, Peter Migliacio, Nicky and Shelia Henson Migliacio, Jimmy and Pam Heck Migliacio, and Lina Simpson Migliacio, all of Plaquemine; six sisters, Pauline Abene, Phyne Abene, Frances Lamonte, Mary Lamont and Lena Mitchell, all of Tickfaw, and Christine Castjohn, Ponchatoula; two brothers, Frank Restivo and Dominick Restivo, both of Tickfaw; and 12 grandchildren, Mark, Sarah Lynn, Nico, Haley, Monty, Mario, Rachael and Jackie Migliacio, Will and Steve Albert, Jamie Freeman and Ted Horn Jr., all of Plaquemine; two great-grandchildren, Preston and Ainsley Albert. Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Vita Pigno Restivo and Jack Migliacio; a son, Jackie Migliacio; a daughter, Katherine Migliacio; two sisters, Margaret Loup and Annie Restivo.
