MIMS, BRENDA F.
An employee of Southern University and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died
at 5:23 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at St. Clare Manor. She was 58 and a
native of Independence. Visiting at Wesley United Methodist Church, 544
Government St., on Friday, Dec. 18, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Religious service
at the church on Saturday at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. E. Andrew Goff.
Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by her sons, Reginald and
Brian Mims; sister, Linda Chriss; and brother, Alonzo Knox. Arrangements by
Carney-Mackey Funeral Home.
