MINOR, MITCHELL, SR.
A retired employee from Uniroyal and a resident of Baton Rouge, he passed 
away Thursday, June 2, 2011. He was 86 and a native of Independence. 
Visiting at World Shakers Church International on Thursday, June 9, from 
9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Pastor Jeffrey 
Phillips. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survived by his wife, 
Elsie M. Minor; daughters, Shirley and spouse Hardy Thomas, Joanel Olden, 
Marion Daniels, Doris and spouse James Coleman, Constance and spouse Roy 
Houston, and Shenetta Minor; sons, Mitchell Minor Jr., Henry and spouse 
Rose Minor, and Ray C. and spouse Shenetta Minor; sisters, Minister Annie 
W. and spouse Walter Johnson, Geneva Clay and Mamie W. Weatherspoon; and 
brothers, Bishop John H. Weathersby and David Weathersby. Preceded in death 
by his mother, Julia Weathersby; and stepfather, Dave Weathersby.

MINOR, NICHOLE RENEE'
Nichole Renee' "Nikki" Minor was born January 17, 1979, and passed away at
5:50 p.m., Thursday, December 10, 2009, at her residence in Natalbany. She
was 30 and a native of Baton Rouge.  Nikki is survived by her daughter,
Deanna St. Romain; son, Logan St. Romain, both of Tickfaw; mother, Gladys
M. Pourciau and husband Douglas, Independence; sister, Bobbie M. Morris and
husband, Travis, Amite; brother, Dennis Cafarella and wife Janette, Amite;
aunt & uncle, Jeffery & Lois Smith, Greensburg; companion, Shane Anderson,
Natalbany; numerous aunts, uncles & extended family.  Preceded in death by
a son, Dustin T. Richard; grandparents, Carl & Myrtis Holden and Clarence
Minor.  Visitation will be at McKneely & Vaughn Funeral Home, Amite, on
Tuesday, December 15, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until Religious Services at 
2:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darryl Miller officiating.
Interment in the Natalbany Cemetery, Independence.  An on-line Guestbook
