He was a retired manager of the Brunswick and Library Restaurants. He is survived by three sons, Samuel Ruskin and David Vincent Miranda, both of Baton Rouge, Michael Henry Miranda of Hammond; one grandchild; two brothers, Vincent Webb Miranda Sr. of Baton Rouge, William F. Miranda Sr. of Beaumont, Texas; and three sisters, Elaine Miranda Miller of Carencro and Patricia Miranda Bonnette and Lannie L. Bonnette, both of Baton Rouge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent A. and Rubye Webb Miranda; paternal grandparents, Peter A. and Frances Leto Miranda; and maternal grandparents, Hiriart E. Webb and Edith Mackay Webb. The Rev. Vic Messina will conduct a Mass of Christian burial today at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. She was 63. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, with recitation of the rosary at 8:30 p.m. Visiting at St. George Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Tom Ranzino. Entombment in St. George Mausoleum. Survived by her husband, Vincent Webb Miranda Sr.; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Hilton J. Peltier; four daughters, René E. Miranda, M.D., Andrea C. Miranda, Mary M. Simmons, M.D., and Deanna M. Yablonsky; a sister, Mary P. Morrison; two brothers, James H. and Raymond Peltier; and eight grandchildren. She was a member of St. George Catholic Church and was active in the parish ministry. She was an alumna of St. Anthony High School Class of 1957, and a member of Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre.
