She leaves in God's care her husband of 12 years, Larry Mishler; her three precious sons: Mark Richard Diamond (partner to Kevin Scott Stone), Ricky Steven Diamond (husband to Cheryl Leger Diamond) and Michael Jack Diamond (husband to Betty Tardo Diamond). As well, she leaves in GodŐs tender care, 5 beautiful grandchildren: Thomas Nicklaus Diamond (husband to Alison Joan Diamond), Elizabeth Nicole Diamond, Aaron Steven Diamond, Kimberely Diamond Brouillette (wife to Raymond Martin Brouillette II), Michael Dominic Diamond and 4 precious great grandchildren: Colten James Diamond, Cameryn Grace Diamond, Raymond Martin Brouillette III and Amelie Patricia Brouillette. She was the daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Strickland West and sister of the late Paul "Harry" West (husband to the late Laura Kennedy). Patricia is survived by 3 sisters: Martha Carolyn West McDonald (wife to Roy Charles McDonald), Marjorie June West Newman (wife to the late John Dewy Newman), Peggy Elizabeth West Duncan (wife to Harold Duncan) and a brother, Jonathan Edward West (husband to Gayle Kennedy West) along with a host of nieces and nephews. Patricia was born in Hortense, Georgia, on February 3, 1937 and was a resident of Kenner, Louisiana, for most of her adult life. She resided in Hammond, Louisiana, with her husband Larry for the past 6 years. She was a retired school bus driver for 20 years with the Jefferson Parish School Board, bus number 363. She loved reading, cooking, fishing and enjoyed nature and all its beauty. She especially enjoyed collecting rocks from various destinations visited, Georgia by far being her favorite. Love of family was everything to her. Services to celebrate PatriciaŐs life will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, Louisiana. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
