MITCHAM, KENNETH GAEL
Kenneth Gael Mitcham, 72, and a resident of Springfield, went home to the
Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2007, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He
was born Saturday, Sept. 29, 1934, in Evans, the son of the late Hubert
Frank Mitcham and Eula Piggott Mitcham. He was a lifetime patron of the
NRA. He retired as a special products manager for Payne & Keller. He is
survived by his wife, Shirley Drude Mitcham; two daughters, Gael Chidester
and Cynthia Webb; a son, Michael Mitcham; three sisters, Betty Lawrence,
Clara Mitcham and Heula Pittman; five grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren. Preceded in death by an infant son, Carl Leland Mitcham; and
sister, Patsy Kramer. Friends will be received at Woodland Baptist Church,
Springfield, on Monday, April 16, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 
11 a.m., officiated by David Theriot, pastor. Interment in Wetmore
Cemetery, Ponchatoula. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
Woodland Baptist Church Building Fund, 27929 La. 1037, Springfield, LA
