MITTS, MARILYN BANKSTON
Marilyn Bankston Mitts, a resident of Hammond, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 
9, 2011, at North Oaks Medical Center. She was 65, born April 12, 1946, in 
Albany. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Mitts; son, Adam Mitts; 
grandson, Cody; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rhonda and Paul Ramirez 
and Sandra and Rick Chiquelin; brother, Benny Bankston; godparents, Zeke 
and Bessie Magliolo; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and 
friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Flora Zane Derks 
Bankston; and brother, Pete Bankston. Friends are invited to celebrate 
Marilyn's life at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, on Wednesday, 
Nov. 16, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. A guest book is available at
