"STRAWBERRY" A resident and native of Ponchatoula, he died Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at Tech Regional Medical Center, Morgan City. He was 50. Visiting at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, and 8 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6. Interment in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bates Mizell; mother, Dorothy Mae Mizell of Gulfport, Miss.; a son, Brad Daniel Mizell of Germany; a daughter, Nicole Mizell of Noonan, Ga.; a stepson, Jason Schmolke of Ponchatoula; three stepdaughters, Belinda Schmolke of Bogalusa and Karen and Trudy Schmolke, both of Covington; a brother, Troy Mizell of Covington; three sisters, JoAnn King of Covington, Faye Molsbee of Gulfport, Miss., and Argie Rivers of Jackson, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Her family and friends will miss her dearly. Visitation at First Baptist Church, Livingston, on Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Tim Norris and the Rev. Carlin Sanders. Interment in Mizell Cemetery, Livingston. Survived by her husband, Willie Mizell; children and their spouses, Johnny and Anna Mizell, Chester and Joyce Mizell, Curtis and Cindy Mizell, Mary and Perry Morgan, Jimmy and Janie Mizell and Raymond and Jeanine Mizell; grand- children, Bridgette, Kim, April, Chad, Britt, Curt Jr., Nat, Judy, Jason, Josh, Nikki, Jim, Michell, Chris, Tabitha, Tiffany, Trishia, Heather and Emily; 24 great-grandchildren; sister, Leila Hawver; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Sandy Williams, whom she cared for as her own. Preceded in death by her son, Roger Mizell; grandson, Chris Wiggins; parents, Clarence and Ruth Kinney Williams; and several brothers and sisters.
