MONCRIEF, GLADYS L.
New Orleans--Gladys L. Moncrief, 92, a homemaker and native of Lake,
Mississippi, died Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Linda Boggs Hospital, New
Orleans.  Survivors include her daughter, Erma Louise Maryland of New
Orleans; sister, Girty Wooten of Chicago; a grandson; three great-grand-
children and two great-great-grandsons.  Visitation will be at Mount Vernon
Baptist Church, Hammond, Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the funeral service to
be conducted by the Rev. Samuel Brown at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Holly
Gardens Cemetery.  MJR Friendly Service Funeral Home, Inc., Denham Springs
is in charge of arrangements.
