She was 85. Visiting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lakeland on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial in the church at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. Greg Daigle. Entombment in Chenal Mausoleum. Survivors include 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene and John O'Neill of Clinton, La., Carol David of Jarreau, Camille and Larry Holmes of Hammond, Veronica Wyatt of Slidell; 4 sisters, Hilda Palmquist of Madison, Wisconsin, Marilyn Chenevert of New Roads, Genevieve Jones of Baton Rouge, Mary Alice Bohne of Port Allen; 1 brother, Ovide Mix of New Roads; 13 grandchildren, Mary Moore, Melissa Moss, Tina Smith, Henry O'Neill, Dwayne David, Sonya Morris, Aimee Turner, John West, Karen Monteleone, Rebecca Thornhill, Jason Wyatt, Karla Mule', Sean Wyatt; 27 great-grandchildrenand 4 great-great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Lloyd Moniotte; parents, Leo and Hilda Schexnayder Mix; son-in-law, Wesley David; sisters, Margorie and Theresa Mix; brothers, Joseph, Leo and Edward Mix.
