Mustang, Okla.-- Dr. Lynn B. Moon, 68, died March 23, 2005. He was a native of Hammond and grew up in the area. He received his bachelor of science degree in premed from LSU and his medical degree at LSU College of Medicine. He played basketball at LSU from 1955-57 and was a standout player at Southeastern Training School. He was a member of the Church of Christ but had recently been attending Mustang United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; three sons, Brandt Moon of Hammond, Kasy Moon of Yonkers, N.Y., and Bryan Moon of Hawaii; seven daughters, Lorelei Calvert of Austin, Texas, Michelle Kasal of Stewart, Minn., Kaylin Freedman aand Kelly Moon, both of Colorado, Kris Vaughan of Chicago, Kimberly Harrison of Mustang and Kerri Copus of Eakly, Okla., and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Hattie Toney Moon. Services were held at Mustang United Methodist Church under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral service, Mustang. ***************************************************************************
