MORRISS, VERNON
Amite - The funeral was held Friday for Amite resident Vernon Morriss, 72,
who died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002. A native of Philadelphia, Mo., he served
in the U.S. Army and retired after working as a credit manager. Survivors
include wife, Anne Morriss; a daughter, Terrie Lee Morriss; and two
brothers, Louis and Robert Lee Morriss. Bagnell and Son Funeral Home,
Covington, was in charge.
