A food server at Baton Rouge General Medical Center and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, in Baton Rouge. He was 34 and a native of Independence. Religious services at St. John Baptist Church, 820 Rafe Meyer Road, Alsen, at noon Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Donald Ruth. Interment in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by father and mother, Albert Mott Sr. and Helen Netter Mott; grandfather, Eddie Mott; a sister, Laverne Mott Rogers; a half-sister, Rhonda Tircuit; a half-brother, Brian Bush; two brothers-in-law, Abraham Rogers III and Ralph Tircuit; two dearest nephews, Keldric D. Lewis and Arthur W. Grisby III; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and friends. Survivors reside in Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by grandparents, Helen and Ernest O'Conner and Leola S. Mott; an uncle, Leon Keelen; and a cousin, Elroy Keelen. "JIMMY" A resident of Loranger, he died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, at North Oaks Medical Center. He was 52 and a native of Plaquemine. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Emile Tosso. Interment in Grace Memorial Park. Survived by his wife, Carol Jo Bertrand Mott; a daughter, Anita and husband Brett Rosso of Plaquemine; two sons, Chase Pierce Mott and James R. Mott III, both of Loranger; a sister, Jenny and husband Ricky Comeaux of Addis; a brother, Frank D. and wife Cheryl Pirello Mott of Plaquemine; a grandson, Dominic Paul Rosso; and two nephews, Ricky Comeaux Jr. and Jason Comeaux. Preceded in death by his parents, James R. Sr. and Myrna Hebert Mott; paternal grandparents, Isaac Sr. and Lilly Lake Mott; and maternal grand- parents, Lloyd Sr. and Evelyn Dobel Hebert.
