MOUNEY, CLAUDE FRANCIS
Ponchatoula - Claude Francis Mouney, 84, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at his 
home.  He was a native of New Orleans and a former deputy with the
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from
1935 to 1942; was a retired salesman with Zetz 7-up Bottling Co., New
Orleans; former member of David D. Evans Marine Corps League; and past
president of Terrytown Lion's Club, Gretna.  He is survived by his wife,
Kathryn Cockerham Mouney of Ponchatoula; two sons, Claude F. Mouney Jr. of
Covington, and Donald J. Mouney of River Ridge; two sisters, Alice Woods of
Harahan, and Muriel Michell of New Orleans; two brothers, Earl and Frank
Mouney, both of Harahan; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Myrtle Mouney.
Visitation will be Thursday at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home,
Ponchatoula, from 10 a.m. until the Dominican Fathers conduct the funeral
at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Ponchatoula Cemetery.

MOUNEY, KATHRYN COCKERHAM
Kathryn Cockerham Mouney, 85 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, long-time 
resident of Ponchatoula, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Heritage 
Health Care in Hammond.  Kathryn was born on January 26, 1926, in Bogalusa.
Surviving are sons, Claude F. Mouney, Jr. of Mandeville and Donald J. 
Mouney of New Orleans; nephew, Glenn Allen Cockerham; also survived by five 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by 
husband, Claude F. Mouney Sr.; parents, John and Bernice Cockerham; 
sisters, Marguerite Daniels, Edna Phillips; brother, Edward Cockerham.
Friends will be received Tuesday, November 8, 2011 from 9:00 am until 
11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son in Hammond.  Services will be held at 
Funeral Home Chapel - Hammond, Tuesday, at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow
in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.  A guest book is available at
