A resident of Tickfaw, he died Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Covington. He was 68 and a native of Ruston. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Visitation at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Tickfaw, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation at the church from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Larry Brignac. Interment in Lanier Cemetery, Loranger. Survived by his wife, Bonnie Harper Mount, Tickfaw; a son, Billy D. Mount Jr., Tickfaw; two sisters, Jeannine Nope and Glenda Ellender, both of Baton Rouge; a brother, Scott Mount, Leesville; and two aunts, Leslie Puddy and Ermie Frazier, both of Ruston.
