He was 59 and a native of Mayfield, Ky. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Sunday, Aug. 13, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, on Monday, Aug. 14, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. He is survived by his wife, Honora "Fran" Bennett Mullins of Prairieville; parents, Dr. Auttis and Wanell Farmer Mullins of Baton Rouge; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jeannine and Shane Holdridge of St. Amant and Jolee Ann Mullins of Prairieville; two sons, Jason Mullins and Jared Mullins and fiancée Brandy Cline, all of Prairieville; a sister, Yolanda Yoder of Baton Rouge; a brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Paige Mullins of Ponchatoula; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Willie and JoAnn Houston of Baton Rouge and Butch and Dara Bennett of Zachary; four grand- children, Garrett and Meagan Holdridge, Brayden Mullins and Kayla Cline; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo and Honora Bennett. Pallbearers will be John Kaack, Robert Kaack, Larry Lloyd, Raymond "Rock" Martinez, Louis LeBlanc, Allen Hill, Jeremy Houston and Cody Melancon. Honorary pallbearers are Gerald Mayers and U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Joshua Houston. He attended Louisiana Tech University. He was a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Gonzales and a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Prairieville.
