She was 89 and a native of Plaquemines Parish. Visiting was at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by a Dominican priest. Interment in Tickfaw Catholic Cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. John (Virginia "Jean") Governale, Tickfaw, and Mrs. Harold (Frances) Banks, Tickfaw; a son, Anthony P. Musacchia Jr., Tickfaw; four sisters, Josephine "Josie" Fuller, Hammond, Lucy Musacchia, Tickfaw, Virginia Inzinna and Lena Mae Amato, both of Independence; two brothers, Nace Macaluso, Hammond, and Larry Macaluso, Tickfaw; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Anthony "Tony" Musacchia; parents, Salvador and Frances Arnone Macaluso; three sisters, Rosalie Salamone, Annie Dorsa and Sandy Gebbia; and three brothers, Joe, Nick and Tony Macaluso.
