She was 75. Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home chapel, Hammond, from 8:30 a.m. Tuesday until religious services at 11:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Stanley Baham. Interment in New Haven Baptist Church Cemetery. Survived by three sisters, Ouida Tate Bankston, Port Vincent, Irene Tate Stewart, Albany, and Louise Tate McNabb, Baton Rouge; a brother, the Rev. Jesse Tate, Hammond; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by first husband, Ivy Morgan; second husband, Zellie Nails; parents, William T. and Sarah Blount Tate; and four sisters, Julia Tate, Johnnie Hutchinson, Ella Carroll and Nancy Bankston. ***************************************************************************
