Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Nalty. Funeral and interment Tuesday in New Orleans. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Hammond Vindicator: 1/29/1954 NALTY, RAYMOND J., SR. Raymond J. Nalty, Sr., 54, passed away Friday at Baptist Hospital in New Orleans. Services were held at Holy Ghost Catholic church on Saturday; burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Bernard Nalty, Sr.; born and reared in Brookhaven, Miss. He resided in Hammond since 1926. On October 7, 1925 he married the former Miss Orris Bradley, and to this union was born one son, Lieut. Raymond J. Nalty, Jr. of Fort Knox, Ken.; two daughters, Mrs. Bartley W. Farrell of New Orleans and Miss Lois Nalty, student at L.S.U. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. C. Arthur Provost of New Iberia; five brothers, William H., Louis D., J. Bernard and Leonard A. Nalty of New Orleans, and Eugene A. Nalty of Brookhaven, Miss.; one granddaughter Orris Augusta Farrell.
