NARRETTA, AURELIA COOK "GAMAMA"
A resident of Baton Rouge, Aurelia left her loving family for the arms of 
our Lord and Savior on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010. Aurelia was 101, born Oct. 
13, 1908, in Olive Branch to Rankin and Mattie Castello Cook. She was a 
longtime member of Woodlawn Baptist Church and later St. Andrew's United 
Methodist Church. She is survived by two children and their spouses, 
daughter, Joyce Argrave and husband Bobby Gene Argrave Sr., and son Jerry 
Narretta Sr. and wife Margaret; five grandchildren, Dayne Narretta, Bobby 
G. Argrave Jr. and wife Melissa, Traci Narretta Falcon and husband Frank, 
Mar'Sue Argrave Edwards Bowersox and husband Gerry, and Jerry Narretta Jr.; 
six great-grandchildren, Jeremy Falcon and wife Cecilia, Vincent Argrave 
and wife Crystal, Laci Falcon Parault and husband Mark, Jeffrey Argrave, 
Albert Ray "Trey" Edwards III and Layla Argrave; three great-great-
grandchildren, Natalia Falcon, Noah Argrave and Luke Parault; and three 
siblings, Evelyn St. Amant, of Prairieville, Hazel Boudreaux, of 
Ponchatoula and Floyd Cook, of St. Amant. She had a close and loving 
relationship with her nephew, Keith Boudreaux and his wife, Kelly. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Guy Narretta; brothers, Clyde, Roy, 
Sidney and Robert; and sisters, Nettie Richards, Effie Cook, Katie Ard and 
Mary Braud. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on 
Sunday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. until religious services at 12:30 p.m., 
officiated by the Rev. Larry O'Dell. Interment in Greenlawn Cemetery, 
Hammond, coordinated by Greenoaks Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bobby 
Argrave Jr., Jeremy Falcon, Jerry Narretta Jr., Vincent Argrave, Frank 
Falcon and Keith Boudreaux. Honorary pallbearers are Jeffrey Argrave, Trey 
Edwards III, Jerry Bowersox and Mark Parault.
