He was 24 and a senior at Southeastern Louisiana University. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, with the service at 7 p.m., conducted by the Rev. David Davis. He is survived by his parents, Dale and Pam Nemeth of Baton Rouge; and a sister, Stacey Casselberry and her two children, Lauren and Nathan. His grandparents are Bill and Anna Nemeth of Hammond and Rita Jackson of Independence. His aunts and uncles are Bill and Cindy Nemeth of Birmingham, Ala., Robert and Elizabeth Nemeth of Mandeville, and C.J. and Paulette Costa of Independence. His close cousins include Benji and Yvette Nemeth, and Eric, Joshua and Jonathan Costa. He was preceded in death by his cousin, Cory Saragusa, who was of Independence. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Order at SLU and employed by Nutri-Sport. The family would like to thank the many family, friends and neighbors for their prayers and assistance during the past week. *************************************************************************** Obituary published in The Advocate (Baton Rouge) on: 4/1/2003 NEMETH, FRANK A native and resident of Hungarian Settlement, he died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at North Oaks Medical Center, Hammond. He was 88 and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served from 1941 to 1945. He was a captain, having served with the 762 Tank Battalion in Saipan. He valiantly fought alongside his men and was awarded the Bronze Star. Visiting at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting in the funeral home chapel from 8 a.m. until religous service at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by Deacon Warren Fortenberry. Interment in St. Margaret Catholic Cemetery. Survived by a son, Frank A. Nemeth, Hungarian Settlement; two daughters, Teresa N. Ragusa, Hammond, and Patricia N. Works, Warrior, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Crystal S. Bailey, Ponchatoula, Tara R.
