NEUPERT, EDWARD ANTHONY JR. 
Edward Anthony Neupert Jr., 72, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at his home in
Hammond. He was a native of Algiers and a retired member of Plumbers and
Steamfitters Local 60. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952. 
Survivors include his wife, Rita Guidry Neupert; sons Edward A. Neupert
III, Gregory J. Neupert, Jeffery J. Neupert, Scott M. Neupert and Todd J.
Neupert; a brother, Charles J. Neupert; a sister, Joan Neupert Schmidt; and
three grandchildren. His son, police officer Gregory J. Neupert, preceded
him in death. Visitation will be held Monday at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral
Home, Metairie, from 10 a.m. until the funeral Mass at 1 p.m. in the
funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
