She was born Sunday, Feb. 1, 1942, in Maurepas, the daughter of Joseph Fred Penalber and Angelle Richard Penalber, who preceded her in death. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for North Oaks Medical Center, retiring in 2001.
