NORWOOD, ELIZABETH ANN
Dr. Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Norwood, 58 years old of Hammond, La., passed away, 
Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at her residence.  She was born on Tuesday, Nov. 
17, 1953, in Baytown, Texas, daughter of Dr.Thurrell O. McClendon and the 
late Helen Martin McClendon.  Liz was a school psychologist for the 
Tangipahoa Public School System since 1991 and she became the Functional 
Behavioral Assessment Psychologist for the school system in 2001.
Surviving are son, Michael Wright, daughter, Kellie Norwood Alford and 
husband Andrew, father, Thurrell O. McClendon and wife Anna, brother, 
Howard McClendon and wife Brenda, sister, Tracy Roppolo and husband George, 
grandchildren, Aiden Wright and Evan Alford, niece, Gianna Roppolo, niece, 
Crystal Giles and husband Bryan, nephew, Ronald McClendon and wife Sydney, 
niece, Barbara McClendon; and also her special friend, Michael White.  She 
is preceded in death by her mother Helen Martin McClendon and son, 
Thurrell "T.D." Wright.  Friends will be received Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 
from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond. Visitation will 
resume on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at 9 a.m. until funeral service begins 
at 11 a.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. Services will 
be held at Harry McKneely & Son Hammond, Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at 
11 a,m. Interment will follow in the Rose Memorial Park Cemetery Hammond, 
La.  Contributions may be made to the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center, 4950
