A resident of Baton Rouge, she was 88, born June 5, 1917, in Franklinton. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, June 10. Graveside service at Ellis Cemetery, Franklinton, at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11. She is survived by a son, Jewel L. Fornea Jr. of Baton Rouge; niece and guardian, Carolyn S. Little of Baton Rouge; nieces and nephews, Janis Donaldson of Baton Rouge, Andy Smith of Kentwood, Penny Hall of New Orleans and Jack Seal of Brazos, Texas; granddaughter, Venetia Barredo and husband Mike of Carson City, Nev.; and great-grandchildren, Alexa and Cole Barredo, both of Carson City. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Pierce Seal; mother, Ruth Viva Jenkins; and two brothers, Jesse Durwood and Jesse Pierce Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church. ***************************************************************************
