ODEN, VIOLA FOSTER BELL 
A retired nursing assistant and a resident of Amite, she died Sunday, Oct.
24, 2004, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, Covington. She was 67 and a
native of Pine Grove. Visiting at Amite No. 1 Church of God in Christ,
Amite, from 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, until religious service at 11 a.m.
Interment in New Hope Cemetery, Pine Grove. Survived by her husband,
Roosevelt Oden, Amite; three daughters, Rose A. Bell and Wanda Muse, both
of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Tidia Batiste Burns, Amite; two sons, Roger
Bell Jr. and Roy Bell, both of Fort Walton Beach; three sisters, Almeasey
Foster and Audrey Batiste, both of Baton Rouge, and Linda Cuneo, Slidell;
10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a
brother, Roosevelt Foster; two sisters, Helen Foster and Almaretta Jackson.
