He was born Nov. 27, 1950, in Baton Rouge to Robert Page and Eleanor Tabscott Odom. Page grew up in Prairieville and graduated from East Ascension High School in Gonzales and Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. While at Southeastern, Page served in the Army Reserves, was active in the student body and was a president of ATO fraternity. Page later received an MBA from Wake Forest University in 1992. An accomplished businessman, Page worked his way up from sales representative to senior vice president. In 2000, Page became a member of the Society of International Business Fellows (SIBF). A believer in the value of relationships, he took advantage of the avenue SIBF provided that further allowed him to expand his love of business through the people he met and the work he did. In recognition of his devotion to SIBF, he received the 2004 Spirit Award. A man of strong religious convictions, Page's involvement in church began at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Prairieville.
