Helen M. Ogden, 78, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011, at her home in Gonzales. She was a native of Independence. She is survived by her loving children, Brenda LeBlanc, Randy Duplessis, Robert Duplessis, Dennis Duplessis and Connie McCormick; sisters, Iris Wheeler, Claudine Martinez, Jeanette Hancock and Glenda Stubbs; and brothers Larry Morgan and Clyde "Junior" Morgan. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 28 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Claude Navarre Morgan; brothers, Hollis Morgan and L.J. Morgan; and great- grandson, Caiden Scott Duplessis. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at noon. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marlene Ogden and Rick Dunn, Lindenhurst, Ill., and Louane Ogden and Dale Babin, Houma; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Claude and Jeannine Ogden, Denham Springs, and Bruce Ogden, Baton Rouge; a sister, Marguerite Guilbeau, New Iberia; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, William Alexander Ogden; and parents, Charles Bush and Annie Fiegler Lillie.
